Have your Say in Vietnamese Women Experiencing Family Violence Research

This research is exploring the experiences of family violence among Vietnamese women on partner visas.

The project seeks to explore:

  • How migration status affects family violence dynamics in the Vietnamese Australian community
  • What barriers face Vietnamese-Australian women experiencing family violence whilst on sponsored partner visas when seeking family violence support.

Service providers who support Vietnamese migrants experiencing family violence are being sought to be interviewed about their professional experiences supporting Vietnamese migrant women who have navigated family violence. This includes support and social workers, migration agents, healthcare professionals, mental health workers and more.
