A key recommendation of the Royal Commission into Family Violence was to develop a 10 Year Industry Plan. An important step towards developing the industry plan is to understand more about Victoria’s family violence workforce through the census.
Workers involved in all areas of family violence prevention and response are encouraged to contribute. This includes those working in all sectors that might come into contact with family violence situations, e.g. family violence services, prevention, schools, child-care, housing, hospitals, mental health, justice and corrections.
The family violence workforce census is open until 5 May 2017.
