Event Details
This forum hosted by the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital (RVEEH) includes presentations in a number of areas including: supporting patients with significant traumatic eye and ear injuries presenting in specialist Emergency Departments; non-fatal strangulation; and complexities of family violence in the LGBTIQ and Older communities and more.
RVEEH has been implementing the Strengthening Hospital Response to Family Violence project (SHRFV) since April 2019, in response to the Victorian Government – Royal Commission into Family Violence – Recommendation 95 which requires a ‘whole of hospital’ response to family violence.
Workers are invited to attend to learn more about diverse approaches to family violence prevention and response, including perspectives from specialist services, seniors, the LGBTIQ community and more.
