As a specialist body, inTouch Multicultural Centre against Family Violence offers a range of opportunities for professionals, volunteers and community members to develop their understanding and skills in working with culturally and linguistically diverse women and families experiencing family violence. Join us for a training on culturally appropriate responsiveness to family violence in a CALD context.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Enhance the understanding of family violence in a CALD context
  • Develop an understanding of how culture and migration history affects clients capacity to seek and sustain support
  • Develop an understanding of how culture affects us as workers
  • Develop an understanding on how to identify and respond to family violence in a CALD context
  • Safety planning and referring to support services.
