This workshop will involve a discussion of preliminary research results of the Fathering Challenges research and a panel discussion.
This three year project (2014-2016) aims to improve the parenting experience of children whose fathers or father role-models have used domestic or family violence. Research will be undertaken across Australia in three different program areas: Men’s Behaviour Change (MBC), culturally specific programs for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander men who have perpetrated family violence and fathering programs that address abuse.
