Event Details

This training explores how to respond to suspected elder abuse using an intersectional and trauma informed approach that reflects the uniqueness and complexity of an older person’s identity and experiences.

This module builds on The Bouverie Centre’s Level 1 training so it is important that participants are already familiar with how to recognise and sensitively inquire about suspected elder abuse. It is designed for practitioners from the health and aged care workforce, including nurses and allied health staff, direct care workers, team leaders and senior clinicians and staff working in case manager roles or in ACAS.
