Event Details
This 4-day short course is designed as an introductory training package for new men’s behaviour change practitioners.
The short course provides a detailed understanding of the dynamics of men’s family violence and the key principles for working with men towards behaviour change. It equips participants with the knowledge and skills required to engage, assess and work with men using family violence.
Completion of the 4-day short course, combined with observation of 4 MBC sessions, will provide NTV recognition as a level one Men’s Behaviour Change group facilitator and provide a solid entry point into other practitioner roles.
Who is the training for?
The short course is ideal for the following people:
- Community services workers who are interested in becoming a Men’s Behaviour Change practitioner
- Existing Men’s Behaviour Change practitioners who are new to the sector and who wish to consolidate their knowledge and skills
