NIFVS Network Forum: Engaging Men in the North

Northern Integrated Family Violence Services invites you to join specialists from Aboriginal Services, Men’s Behavioural Change Programs and Maternal and Child Health.

This forum is an opportunity to talk about how to use the Men’s Help Cards with men across the Northern Metropolitan Region. Explore how to support men to consider the impact of their use of violence and ensure the safety of women and children.
The forum will include presentations, panel discussion and workshops to unpack:

• Supporting men to use the Help Cards
• Considerations when working with Aboriginal men
• Working with men who attempt to use culture to excuse their violence
• Using the Help Card with new parents
