Lucys Project Webinar series 2020

In the first in the series, this webinar will look at planning for animals relocating due to DFV during bushfire, drought and COVID. 

  1. We’ll hear from Dr. Mel Taylor of Macquarie University who also volunteers for Blue ARC on her experience and knowledge of planning for animals during bushfire.
  2. We’ll hear from Jo Seymour of Merri Health about coordinating support between councils and DFV refuges.
  3. We’ll hear from Dr. Alicia Kennedy of Cherished Pets about her direct experience supporting animals of vulnerable people with animals through the recent crises.
  4. We’ll hear from Youna Kim of EDVOS about safety risk management tools for animals during a family violence crisis.
  5. Lucy’s Project will introduce a case study on a rescue during multiple concurrent crises and highlight the key points of consideration.
  6. There will be an opportunity for Q and A.
