The Len Tierney Lecture, University of Melbourne will be presented by Angelique Jenney who is the Director of Family Violence Services for Child Development Institute, a multi-service child and family agency in Toronto.

Dr Jenney will be presenting on the topic of Understanding and responding to the impact of violence in families, on Monday August 17, 6-7pm at The Melbourne Brain Centre, 30 Royal Parade, Melbourne.

Dr Jenney will include in her presentation a very accessible and research informed presentation on the program Mothers in Mind, which is a mother and child program specifically designed to meet the parenting needs of mothers who have experienced family violence, childhood abuse, neglect or sexual assault, and have children under the age of four.
