Event Details

This half day workshop will build capacity and sector development for local service providers to enhance their capacity to engage and respond to Indian, migrant and refugee families who experience domestic and family violence. This workshop will cover the following topics:

–          Cultural, Ethnicity, Religious Factors related to domestic and family violence

–          Understanding gender roles and traditions

–          Culturally Sensitive Practice

–          Risk Assessment (CRAF) and Safety Planning

Who should attend?

Professional working with families and children within the community, health and welfare sectors as well as youth leaders, Police, Legal Professional, Teachers and Early childhood.
