An intersectional approach to understanding help-seeking behaviour for family violence.
Seminar Speaker – Dr Lata Satyen BSc., MSc (Psychology)., PhD – Senior Lecturer in Psychology at Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia and a Registered Psychologist.
She has been teaching psychology for the last 21 years in Cross-cultural, Forensic, and Clinical Psychology. She conducts research in the area of migrant wellbeing and family violence, especially in relation to the cultural factors that mediate family violence. She also conducts training workshops for a range of organisations.
