This updated factsheet explains the role of Family Violence Regional Integration Committees (FVRICs) across the state in providing strategic leadership to drive effective responses to family violence and support Victoria’s family violence reforms.
Like other FVRICs, the Northern FVRIC has representatives from a variety of sectors reflecting the cross-sector nature of the family violence service system.
The factsheet also explains the role of Principal Strategic Advisors, like NIFVS’ Sarah Johnson, in providing expertise, leadership and oversight of the work of FVRICs, as well as providing advice to, and acting as a conduit between the committee, government and local services.
