Family violence services are invited to stakeholder focus groups to support the review of the Common Risk Assessment Framework (CRAF), being undertaken by Monash University. Input is being sought about how CRAF works in the field, what challenges are faced in using and/or implementing it and what improvements could be made.
The review responds to the first recommendation from the Royal Commission into Family Violence, which calls for a framework that reflects best practice and meets the needs of victims from all walks of life.
The first focus group, for family violence specialists and academics, will be held on Friday 13 May from 10-12pm at the Monash University Law Chambers in the city. RSVP to Angela Sorotos. More information can be requested from Dr Kate Fitz-Gibbon.
Detailed information about the project can be requested from Project Leader Professor Jude McCulloch. The DHHS project contact is Juliet Chipp from the Family Violence Sexual Assault Unit.
