Juno supports women (trans and cis) and non binary people, with or without children, who are experiencing homelessness, often co-occurring with family violence. Juno provide homelessness and specialist family violence support, as well as working with individuals experiencing early signs of being at risk of homelessness and women working on long-term goals for economic independence.

Services include:

  • Homelessness support: Supporting women, non binary people, and their children to navigate the housing system and work towards accessing stable housing.
  • Family violence support: Specialist family violence risk assessment and safety planning for women, non-binary people, and their children experiencing homelessness.
  • Information and referrals to other specialist support services.

Additional Programs:

  • EMPower Program: Juno’s flagship coaching program for financial independence and poverty reduction, purpose designed to support women (trans and cis) and non-binary people with low income to build strong, economically secure and thriving futures for themselves and their families.
  • Powering Future Choices: Community workshops facilitated by Peer Educators with practical information to reduce the risk of housing and financial stress.
  • Rapid Response Clinic: A drop-in and telephone service that provides women (trans and cis) and non-binary people experiencing financial or housing stress with practical support.
