The 16 Days of Activism is a global campaign to end gender-based violence against women and girls. The annual campaign encourages individuals and organisations to speak out, challenge attitudes that allow violence in our society and spread awareness about the impact of gender-based violence.
WHIN has developed a 16 Days of Activism tool kit for organisations in the northern metro region wanting to participate in the campaign.
Many activities are planned for the 16 Days against Gender-Based Violence including a campaign by inTouch to highlight the issues facing women from migrant and refugee backgrounds. You can join the inTouch Standing With Survivors campaign by signing a pledge to put the safety and wellbeing of women from refugee and migrant backgrounds on the national agenda.
