Participate in the northern metropolitan Week Without Violence campaign (16 – 22 October 2017) by organising an activity in your organisation or community, such as the Clothesline Project.
All agencies can participate in the Week Without Violence by displaying multi-language posters for female victims and for male perpetrators in waiting rooms, on the back of toilet doors, or anywhere that might benefit clients. Order your posters here.
The Week Without Violence is a global campaign to end violence against women. The campaign occurs in the third week of October each year. Since 1999, the northern metropolitan region has had a proud history of participation in the Week Without Violence, primarily through the Clothesline Project, which focuses on raising awareness about family violence.
Further information about the campaign, ideas for activities and tips for facilitating an event are available on the NIFVS website. If you missed out on ordering resources for the Clothesline Project, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
