There are a number of ways to get involved in promoting integration across the family violence sector, including:
Find current family violence employment opportunities in the Northern Metropolitan Region.
Participate in a NIFVS Forum. The forums are held three times a year and focus on improving integration in specific areas. They are open to anyone in the north who works towards women’s and children’s safety.
Family Violence Training
Participate in a MARAM Collaborative Practice, Identifying Family Violence: Responding to Victim Survivors or Resisting Collusion with Male Perpetrators training, or consult with the NIFVS team to organise session for your organisation.
Networks and groups
Participate in a regional family violence network or group.
Family Violence Regional Induction
Participate in a bi-annual Family Violence Regional Induction session. The sessions are for workers who are new to the northern metropolitan region, or to the family violence sector.
Family Violence Posters
Download or order multi-language posters for victim survivors and perpetrators to display in waiting rooms, on the back of toilet doors, or anywhere it might benefit clients.
Week Without Violence
Participate in the northern region’s annual Week Without Violence by hosting an event.
