No To Violence has developed an implementation guide in response to the redevelopment of the Men’s Behaviour Change Minimum Standards (2017). The Royal Commission into Family Violence recommended a review of the Standards (2005) to ensure they reflected best practice.
Some of the changes to the Standards are an extension of the length of the programs from 12 to 20 weeks; an enhanced focus on children; and embedding partner work into MBCPs.
Read more about how MBCPs are delivered in the northern metropolitan region through a case study with Craig Caple, Men’s Behaviour Change Practitioner.
