On 27 September 2018 the next phase of the Family Violence Information Sharing (FVISS) Scheme, Child Information Sharing Scheme (CIS) and the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) Framework reforms will come into effect.
From this date, a wide range of newly prescribed agencies will be required to comply with the Family Violence and Child Information Schemes, and the foundations of the new MARAM Framework including: Integrated Family Services, Out of home care, homelessness services, Maternal Child Health, Child Protection, Mental Health and AOD. Integrated training for all three reforms will begin on 9 October 2018.
In the meantime, newly prescribed agencies are advised to read the Information Sharing guidelines.
