On Wednesday 18 May, the Victorian Government announced the membership of the new Family Violence Steering Committee. Members include representatives of family violence peak bodies, including Domestic Violence Victoria and No To Violence, as well as key statewide services. Yet-to-be announced representative Regional Integration Coordinators will also be invited to join the Committee.
The Committee will work with the Government on an agenda for family violence reform. The Committee will replace Violence against Women and Children Forum.
