Participate in Transforming Responses Survey
A recent report by a Monash University PhD candidate, has investigated the impact of the misidentification of women as perpetrators. This issue was identified in the Royal Commission into Family Violence. The new research points to a strong association between misidentification of the primary aggressor and ‘male perpetrators manipulating the intervention order system’. Women from non-English speaking backgrounds were particularly likely to be misidentified. (Source: The Conversation, 14/11/17)
