The state government has funded an additional $40 million for more Flexible Support Packages to assist with expenses faced by victim survivors of family violence.
More than 5,000 additional victim survivors of family violence are expected to access packages of up to $10,000, which can be used to cover costs like rent, home alarms, CCTV, clothing, beds, books, medication and education.
In the northern metropolitan region, the packages are provided by Anglicare (North East Metropolitan Area) and Uniting Kildonan (Hume Moreland Area). Download the guidelines and application forms.
