Participate in Transforming Responses Survey
The National Day of Action on 23 February 2019 aims to unite families and advocates in cities across the country in simultaneous, peaceful protest at the family violence and sexual abuse children across Australia experience as a result of what the Family Law Reform Council says is a failure of the family law system – courts, police and child protection departments – to protect them.
The protests will be held in silence to reflect the absence of children’s voices in family courts, and the lack of transparency in the system due to the prohibition on publications identifying any party to family law proceedings under s121 Family Law Act.
