The Acquired Brain Injury and Family Violence project is a consortium led by Brain Injury Australia with Monash University, Domestic Violence Victoria, No To Violence incorporating the Men’s Referral Service and the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare, to respond to Recommendation 171 of the Victorian Royal Commission into Family Violence.
As part of this project, researchers would like to interview practitioners from the family violence sector about:
- Experiences of working with clients with a brain injury who are victims/perpetrators of family violence
- Impacts of brain injury on victims/ perpetrators of family violence
- Factors leading to brain injury for victims/ perpetrators of family violence
- Referral pathways
- Trigger points/antecedents for intervention.
