Research Project: Violence Against Women Across the Lifespan
As part of the state budget, the Victorian Government has announced it will spend $5.3 billion to build more than 12,000 public housing homes over the next four years. The Big Housing Build is expected to accommodate as many as 1,000 victim survivors of family violence. Another 1,000 public housing dwellings will set aside for Indigenous Victorians and 2,000 will be provided to people with a mental illness.
