The Monash Gender and Family Violence Prevention Centre at Monash University have been contracted by Victoria Police to conduct an independent review of the Digitally Recorded Evidence-in-Chief Family Violence Trial, which commenced in October 2018. The Review will consider any benefits, adverse impacts or unintended consequences of the trial, as well as make recommendations to improve its operation.
The researchers are interested in hearing about workers’ experiences of the process and any recommendations for improvement. Workers can participate in an interview by contacting Dr Naomi Pfitzner: Naomi.Pfitzner@monash.edu.
Women who have experienced family violence can participate either by doing an interview – contact jude.mcculloch@monash.edu or completing an anonymous survey.
