Homelessness Australia and WESNET have launched a petition calling for the development of a national strategy to ensure access to safe and affordable housing for women and children escaping domestic and family violence.
The campaign is part of the broader VOTE HOME campaign and encourages people to pledge that their vote this election will be for a party that commits to investment in the full range of safe, affordable housing options to support women and their children to be safe from domestic and family violence. The campaign aims to remind political leaders that domestic and family violence has no home in Australia.
