Last week’s Week Without Violence saw over 25 events held by organisations and family violence networks in the northern metropolitan region. Week Without Violence is an annual worldwide campaign that occurs in the third week of October to encourage communities to think and act towards a world without violence against women and children.
This year, events included t-shirt painting as part of The Clothesline Project, marches, public stalls and displays and a self-care day.
Thanks to all those who facilitated and took part in activities across the region.
