Watch Interviews with Family Violence Services
A record sixty events occurred during the Week Without Violence in the Northern Metro Region this month. Schools, hospitals, neighbourhood houses, councils and community services held Clotheslines Projects using t-shirt painting to engage women and their supporters in speaking out about family violence in our communities.
The Week Without Violence (WWV) is a worldwide campaign that occurs in the third week of October, each year. The campaign aims to raise community awareness of family violence, encourage healing through art and strengthen local connections and relationships focused on the elimination of violence against women.
