Watch Interviews with Family Violence Services
Women’s Health In the North (WHIN) made a submission to the Royal Commission into Family Violence on 29 May 2015. The submission highlighted challenges and opportunities in the areas of: integration and coordination of the family violence service system; prevention and gender equity and a regional approach.
The submission was the result of consultation with WHIN’s partners and was endorsed by a number of organisations in the northern metropolitan region.
WHIN hope’s that the combined effort of so many individuals and organisations will provide the Commission with positive suggestions and solutions to eradicating family violence, keeping women and children safe and holding perpetrators accountable.
