Communities of Practice
The NIFVS team convenes communities of practice (CoPs) for practitioners who respond to family violence in the NMR.
Current NIFVS CoPs
Leading Practice – Expressions of Interest Now Open!
Leading Practice will bring together leaders working across diverse practice settings to connect, share knowledge and resources, engage in peer learning, and explore complex family violence presentations. The CoP will provide a supportive and reflective space to deepen practice, discuss challenges, and identify opportunities to strengthen responses to complexity in family violence work.
Working with LGBTIQA+ people who have been impacted by family violence
Northern Integrated Family Violence Services and Switchboard Victoria convene and facilitate this Community of Practice for practitioners working across specialist family violence, LGBTIQA+ specialist services, and other areas that intersect with family violence.
The CoP brings together practitioners working in different settings to connect, share knowledge and resources, engage in peer learning and support, and explore complex family violence presentations. This CoP is a supportive and reflective space for deepening practice, discussing challenges, and identifying ways to strengthen responses to LGBTIQA+ communities.
