NIFVS Regional Integration Committee
Provides family violence system leadership that increases the safety of victim survivors, the accountability of perpetrators and strengthens Victoria’s family violence reforms across the northern metropolitan region of Melbourne.
The NIFVS Regional Integration Committee is supported by the NIFVS team comprising the Principal Strategic Advisor, a Workforce Development Coordinator and a Communications and Project Officer.
History of the partnership
The NIFVS partnership formed on 1 July 2006, following the reforms to the family violence service sector introduced by the Victorian Government.
NIFVS Regional Plan
The NIFVS Regional Plan 2019-2023 sets out the partnership’s priorities and key initiatives.
The northern region
The northern metropolitan region covers more than 1,600 sq. kms. and includes suburbs diverse in ethnicity, socio-economic status and infrastructure.
