Please join us for the next Lunch and Learn delivered by Luke McLean, Director of Legal Practice at Northern Community Legal Centre (NCLC) speaking about navigating visa-safe family violence support. NCLC runs the Safe Landing Project, which supports victim survivors of family violence who hold temporary visas or are without visa status.

With deep expertise in refugee and migration law, Luke has worked extensively across all stages of the migration process, providing legal support to those navigating complex and often precarious circumstances.

He is a passionate advocate for systemic reform in Australia’s migration system, striving to ensure greater safety, fairness, and access to justice for migrant communities affected by family violence.

Following a presentation, participants will have the opportunity engage in a Q&A to unpack how this applies to practice.
