NIFVS welcomes new Principal Strategic Advisor
NIFVS is pleased to announce the appointment of Britt Baillie as Principal Strategic Advisor (PSA).
Britt brings more than a decade of experience across the family violence sector in local, state and national roles. Britt has been part of the NIFVS team since mid-2025 and has acted as PSA since November 2025.
Prior to this, Britt has held state and national roles at No to Violence, and has worked in a variety of direct practice and advocacy focused roles across family violence and LGBTIQA+ specialist sectors.
Britt is known for being a strong advocate for gender equity, LGBTIQA+ communities, and social justice. Britt has a deep commitment to bridging the gap between policy and practice and believes that centering marginalised communities is essential to achieving positive change.
These qualities align closely with the NIFVS mission to create a future where all people are equal respected and thriving.
As NIFVS PSA, Britt will work closely with the Family Violence Regional Integration Committee and leadership group, the internal WHIN team, and other PSAs across the state to influence positive change and build on the strengths of those working to address family violence in Melbourne’s Northern Metropolitan Region and beyond.
Britt formerly commenced the role on 6 May 2026.
