NIFVS Counselling and Group Work Resources
Resources developed by the NIFVS Counselling and Support Alliance to guide counselling and group work practice.
The NIFVS Counselling and Support Alliance involves local community health services in providing family violence counselling and group work for victim survivors. Eight community health services are part of this funded alliance in collaboration with Berry Street, Anglicare, inTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence with Women’s Health In the North as the lead agency.
The following resources were developed by the Alliance.

This guide provides family violence counsellors with clarity and direction to ensure a consistent, evidence-based approach.
Healing, Together: A Family Violence Group Work Resource (2015)
This resource draws together learnings from one-off group work projects.

This manual collates practice ideas and activities that can be used by group worker practitioners.
