The North West Metropolitan Region Primary Care Partnerships have developed a series of resources for organisations to implement family violence procedures: Client Policy Template, Workplace Family Violence Policy Template and a Managers Training Package and Guidelines for Identifying and Responding to People Who Cause Family Violence Harm.
The Strengthening Hospital Responses to Family Violence resources – 3rd Edition provides a framework and resources for hospitals and health services to implement a system-wide approach to identify indicators of family violence, have conversations and provide support. The model was developed by the Royal Women’s Hospital and Bendigo Health.
Guidelines for Identifying and Responding to People Who Cause Family Violence Harm provides a comprehensive guide for health/mainstream services in how they can respond to perpetrators based on best practice.
