Kids First

Kids First and MOSS facilitate Children and Mothers in Mind. It is a group program designed specifically for mothers and children under five who have experienced trauma such as family violence, sexual assault or childhood abuse. It is a trauma informed parenting program, which supports mother child relationships and strengthens mothers’ self-care and stress management skills. One-on-one support is also provided throughout the program.

Kids First also offer a group program, Connections to support families to heal from the impacts of family violence. Run over 8 sessions, the group is open to mothers of children of all ages to connect in a safe & welcoming space.
