NIFVS Strategic Plan
Strategies to provide
family violence system leadership across Melbourne’s northern metropolitan region.
The Northern Integrated Family Violence Services (NIFVS) Family Violence Regional Integration Committee (FVRIC) vision is for a future where all people are equal, respected and thriving.
Our purpose is to lead systems integration and improvements for the benefit of those who experience family violence. We keep victim survivors at the centre of everything we do and hold people who use violence to account.
The NIFVS FVRIC Strategic Plan 2023-2026 is informed by statewide policy, legislative and other developments, and a new national plan to end family violence.
The Strategic Plan has five strategic priorities to provide regional leadership over a three year period, which are:
- Service integration and systems improvements
- Support of statewide family violence reform
- Workforces capacity and capability building
- Evidence-based decision making and advocacy
- Cross-sector governance for systems leadership.
