New Funding Supports Local Diverse Communities Experiencing Family Violence
Two services in the NMR have been successful in receiving funding through the Working Together: Strengthening Family Violence Support with Multicultural Communities grant program: the Centre for Multicultural Youth in partnership with Anglicare and Whittlesea Community Connections.

Victim Survivors’ Advisory Council – new members
The Victim Survivors' Advisory Council was formed in 2016, and is now Chaired by Kym Valentine. The Council will continue to contribute to Victoria's family violence reforms, including the design and implementation of The Orange Door Network and the development of a lived experience strategy.
